It looks like his crest is blowing in the wind. And, yeah, that's one good looking bird. :)
Jesus, first FB, now HG?Grrrrrr...Your Cardinal speaks in first person?
Ha! You got the shot!He talks kind of like a male, birdy version of Coal Black!HG has her nerve, I'll say. :-P
That is a great shot of the cardinal.
but looks a bit cold...or maybe its just me...pretty is not a bad thing to be...
Sure let's it show, even if he does look cold
made me smile. :)
Oh, yes he is!! Great shot, MZ!
He's a looker, for sure!
These are beautiful birds to have in the back yard.
he is the reddest bird I´ve ever seen. :)
He is pretty and knows it too! Great shot!
Way to be there with your camera! Ha!
Wildlife seems to bloom where you live. Over my way I mostly see pigeons, seagulls, and tons of crows. Not sure why the crow population is exploding in SoCal, but they're everywhere!
I love cardinals, a brilliant spot of colour in a dreary winter landscape.
These are such great birds - its been a long time since I've seen one.Cheers and thanks for the link to WBW.Stewart M - Melbourne
He certainly is!We had snow last night and these guys have posed for me all day today. :)
Okay, I'm officially jealous :) Wish we saw cardinals here (Yaletown in Vancouver, BC). I'm glad that I can at least see them second-hand through WWW :)
So vibrant -- handsome dude!
Fantastic shot of the male cardinal.
