And A Child Shall Lead Them

The problems this old world is facing are complicated.

Gun Control:

Me:  "The Constitution guarantees us the right to bear arms.  But, what does that mean?  Some people think that means that we all have the right to trick ourselves out with automatic weapons like we're playing Left 4 Dead or something."

Baby Puppy:  "That's just stupid."

The Fiscal Cliff:

Me:  "Our government is broke.  We have to cut spending, but not so much that we can't help the people who really need it.  And, we have to have money for schools and stuff like that.  So, we have to raise some money by raising taxes, too.  But, some people say we can't raise taxes at all."

Baby Puppy:  "That's just stupid."

Gay Marriage:

Me:  "Some people believe very strongly that it's wrong for a man to marry a man or a woman to marry a woman.  They believe that they have the right to decide what is wrong for everyone."

Baby Puppy:  "That's just stupid."

Or, maybe it's not so complicated after all . . .

If only politicians weren't stupid, then maybe stupid would be a thing of the past.

The 2nd amendment is a little stuck in olden times as well in it's wording. We don't have true militias anymore, and any group calling themselves a militia are 99.9999999% of the time violent and crazy.

We have a right to bear arms but not assault weapons. North America is still a hunting nation. Man still can protect and feed his family using traps and guns. Arms are for sane people.
Why do we need to raise taxes at a time when there are no jobs? It's not a solution when jobs leave because of raised taxes.
What we need are laws to keep jobs at home then more people will pay taxes. How many people have full time jobs today?
Today gay people want marriage to get the same financial privileges as straight people. It's about money. Marriage is not about money. It's about love and children. Gay people can resolve their problems in other ways legally, through other procedures, without getting married.
The Bible does not promote the gay lifestyle. It's not about sex or sexual pleasure. It's about love, stability and raising of children in a protected environment.
Marriage is for people who want to have children and lead a stable life working, feeding, sheltering children in a unit of love.
Gay people don't have children. They adopt them or they have to get them through straight means.lol
They make a farce out of marriage and they aren't the only ones. Straight people make a farce out of marriage too, because it's supposed to be a one time thing.
When you love someone, there is no such thing as irreconcilable differences. Both sides have to show respect and love for the other.
As a result of selfishness and all these farcical reasons people marry, many people don't want to have anything to do with marriage anymore and kids are the ones who suffer. I think where marriage and families are concerned I still favor the traditional ones so you raise stable healthy kids and have no need to worry about people bearing arms because they go to church where they learn about true love. Marriage is a career and a full time job and as you know, not everything is always peachy at work either but you go every day and you stick it out. lol

Let me tell you, a group of 10 year olds would have a better chance of avoiding the fiscal cliff than the current bunch of jokers in office. Can't tell you how frustrated I am over the whole thing.

Amen. I think it must be a qualification for becoming a politician that you must be stupid; add selfish and blinkered and you have the job spec.

I we could only be as intelligent as our children. Or Gibbsmack the politicans. Or stand in front of them and say "That's just stupid."

Oh wait, then we would be as smart as our children.
