Review: Tidewater Inn

Just moments after learning that she has recently inherited a gorgeous old inn on the Outer Banks from a father that she had thought dead for twenty years, Libby Holladay witnesses the abduction of her business partner.  To her horror, Libby is the prime suspect.  But, Libby's own suspicions soon turn to the less than welcoming members of the family she never knew that she had.

I almost loved Colleen Coble's Tidewater Inn (Thomas Nelson, 2012).  The characters are likable,   there's a sweet romance, and the mystery of Libby's partner's disappearance keeps you turning the pages right up until the end of the book.  Unfortunately, the ending was a problem for me.  I just didn't find it believable.  Still, I would say that Tidewater Inn is worth a look if you're a fan of mystery / romance.

I love the book cover. That alone would make me pick it up and read it.

It does have nice cover art, but I think I'll pass.

Just from the title I'd probably pick it up to read.

Anything that takes a reader to the Outer Banks has to be worth a bit of a try!

It must be hard to do reviews like this one, but you are being true to yourself and I appreciate it.

It sounds fine, and if I can make it through Haunted, this one sounds fun.

Hugs,
