Ducks can be very tolerant of some people. :-)

I'll say - good thing you don't have a Snickers bar in your hand or something.

Is it just me or does it look as if this duck is sticking its tongue out?

Yup, probably too close unless you have a sack of bread and that's not recommended. Pretty duck.

I was once chased down a river whilst in a row boat by a very angry looking swan who wasn't far behind, had to row for dear life until he finally gave up the chase. LOL I guess we went to close to his nest or his wife or some such. Haha Lovely that they love each other so much they try to protect them as best they can from harm. Nice pic, bought back that happy memory.

This made me laugh.

Watch out - ducks can attack!! I had a pet one that hated my brother and would latch onto his Achilles and not let go for anything.

The day after Christmas my kids were on their way out the front door and came right back in again. "There's a chicken on your porch rocker," my son said. I thought he was kidding. Nope. Damned if there wasn't a live chicken on my porch! LOL Must've escaped from someone's yard. Wouldn't be weird if we lived out in they country, but we live in a subdivision in an Atlanta suburb. Poor misguided chicken. He didn't stay.

I was attacked by a crazed swan once. Them things is mean, especially when guarding a nest.

This is definitely the best comment board I have seen all day. Lots of fun. Seems everyone has fallen victim to bullying ducks. Do we have a under reported problem here?
Cheers Mama Zen!
