My Inner Circle

While I was thinking
about how badly I screwed up
yesterday,
I managed to screw up today.

Fortunately, I'll have all day
tomorrow
to think about it.

Oh. Darling. Why on earth would you not simply blame the staff? Goddess put them on earth for a purpose!

Yep, might as well forgive yourself, go on and live tomorrow and forgive yourself as much as you need to.

Or not. If no one got hurt, don't worry about it. If they did, break out the band aides and call it good.

I've always wanted to be one of those people that can acknowledge they've made a mistake, grow from it, and move on. Instead I like to beat myself up. It doesn't do any good, but it keeps me busy.
