Review: No, Never!

Daisy doesn't want to take a bath. Or, do her homework. Or, eat her broccoli and carrots. "No, never!" Well, what does Daisy want to do? And, how can she do want she wants, if she never does what she needs?

Sally O. Lee's No, Never! (BookSurge Publishing, 2009) is a sweet little picture book for the six and under set. Featuring colorful illustrations of Daisy the Dalmatian and simple text, No, Never is a delight for the eyes and ears. Admittedly, the "do the little things to accomplish the big things" message is delivered with very little subtlety, but it's a good message just the same.

Recommended for anyone with a little "No, Never" of their own in the house!

For full disclosure, see the sidebar.

This sounds delightful. Wish I was six or under again so I could enjoy the magic as only the youngest can. I have always loved reading.

My kids could have used that message. It's a bit late now, though. At least in picture book form.

So cute! Good idea for those types. They should write an adult version though, of course, they would NEVER read it ;)
