DUH @ me. I hadn't known that fawns had antlers. But I should have known that there are plenty out there who are spotty and horny both. *smirk*

Spots and antlers? I don't think I've ever seen that before on the same deer. You must have caught him at just the right time!

Wonderful shot.

Do I dare make reference to "Bambi" and "horn..."

No. No I don't dare.

What a beautiful, sweet photo. And how could we not associate a deer with Bambi?

I used to live in Western PA...when my now 16 yr old son was a toddler. When he was 2. We saw a dead deer strapped to a burly man's truck one day and Keith asked me "wot dat?" to which I replied, "oh that's Bambi!" The burly man got all kinds of mad at me for telling my son the truth. (something I always did and now at 16 I cannot tell you how much I advocate telling your kids the truth...because now I need that credibility sooo badly!!). I responded to the burley man by saying, "Why not, is his name really Ted?"

The man did not laugh.

That man did not want me telling my son he "killed" Bambi. Which he did.....oh wait..surely that was Ted right? No one could KILL Bambi!!!!

I've never seen one with a rack like that. Really. Cool.

What type of deer is that? I've never seen one with spots and antlers before. Very interesting!

Every single one of them is Bambi! LOL! That might be "Bambi all growed up" cause of the antlers...
