Spring To-Don't List

1. I will not succumb to the temptation to update my wardrobe. Sure, all of the new spring fashions look adorable in the magazines. And, I'm sure they would look equally adorable hanging in my closet . . . untouched, as I'm reaching for my yoga pants.

2. I will not buy a bunch of work-out DVDs (you didn't think that I actually did yoga, did you) in the vain hope of recapturing my youthful figure in time for swimsuit season. I know perfectly well that I would feel like a complete ass sweating to the oldies in the middle of my living room. And, call me paranoid if you wish, but I can' t get past the image of the UPS guy watching me through the window and laughing hysterically. It could happen.

3. I will not subject myself to any diet that involves depriving myself of the forty pounds of chocolate Easter bunnies that I fully intend to eat. I know my weaknesses.

Spring fever is a disease and must be treated as such.

You are a woman after my own heart. Thank you for reminding us of the insanity of spring fever...

Any hopes I had of getting in shape for the bathing suit I won't wear anyway went out the window with the arrival of the Girl Scout cookies and those damned Robin Eggs I eat by the bag full.

Oh dear...my family is all trying to adopt some better eating habits and to eat less calories.

Still, I admire you! Wish us luck!

I hear ya sista, I hear ya!

I've been thinking the same thing! I need to start tanning at some point or I will glow this summer!

And losing weight or exercising, it's always a great thought but the thought is as far as it goes. But I can do the shopping!

I love it. And I totally want to adopt your list, except I will be updating my wardrobe. I need new yoga pants.

I am so with you! Malted milk balls are my weakness...
Can you believe how many evil catalogs are coming in the mail every day? Especially the Easter Chocolate catalogs.
Ah, Spring...

I love it and totally agree. Why buy something like those work out DVDs you know that you don't have time for and really don't want to do? There has to be something better out there.

And yeah, who wants to miss out on easter candy!

I hear you about the chocolate. I have figured exactly how many calories each kind of candy has. this year I will at lest try to control my indulgences by knowing exactly how much I'm eating. That's about the best I can do.
