Gas Challenge '07

First, a big thank you to Boogie Mum for honoring me with the "You Make Me Smile" award. It made me smile! And, I'd like to bestow it on all of you that comment here. That makes me smile, too.

Speaking of Boogie Mum, I must tell you about the cool challenge that she is starting September 21. Gas Challenge '07 is your chance to save money, help protect the environment, and (possibly) win a cool prize. Go here for details!*

My Challenge Goal:
I'm keeping this as simple as possible so that I can easily keep up with it. On average, a $50 fill-up lasts me about 2 weeks. My goal is to stretch that tank of gas for the duration of the contest (about 3 weeks). If I can successfully go from filling up every 2 weeks to filling up every 3 weeks, I would save about $450 a year. That's a lot of shoes!

Yikes, I spend $100 a fortnight (I live in the UK where it is MUCH more expensive)on gas and I only drive about 12 miles a day. I need to check out carpooling. Good for you, btw.
